Together with partners from Serbia and Croatia, IIT joined in this project funded by the Alfred Landecker Foundation with the aim of developing target group-specific methodologies for mapping the understanding of contemporary antisemitism and the capacity to identify it.
This will be done through a study in three cities with many historical, societal, and cultural connections and similarities, but also with significant differences: Novi Sad (Serbia), Timisoara (Romania), and Rijeka (Croatia). After collecting and analyzing the results, the team will devise and promote evidence-based practical guidelines and policy recommendations for national and regional policymakers on tackling antisemitism in line with the EU strategy to combat antisemitism and promote Jewish life.
