Youth

Youth are at the same time beneficiaries and equal partners for dialogue and development of projects and public policies that target them and the communities in which they live.

IIT is the coordinator of the Youth Local Council of Timisoara since its establishment in 2003. IIT coordinated the development of Timisoara Youth Strategy and has been involved in the consultation process regarding the national law on youth. Some of our staff are experts of the National Network of Trainers for Youth in Action Program. 

IIT is an active member of:

• Youth Express Network (Y.E.N.) – an organization with members from across Europe aiming to be the voice of young people at local, regional and European level and to contribute to their full integration in the society. IIT held the presidency of Y.E.N from 2009 to 2012.
