Since its establishment IIT has devoted an important part of its resources to the integration of Roma. In collaboration with Roma associations IIT has developed a wide range of projects focused on: education, development of Roma civil society, anti-discrimination and combatting stereotypes, representation of Roma in the media, consolidation of dialogue between public authorities and Roma communities.
Our projects are developed at local, national and European level, taking into account the specificities of different Roma communities as well as the social, economic and cultural factors that facilitate or hinder their integration in different parts of the continent.
