The aim of this project was to increase social inclusion and to promote social dialogue between diverse entities such as: social partners, NGOs, economic sector, public institutions and citizens. The project was implemented in Timişoara, Arad, Oradea, Cluj‐Napoca, Sibiu, Braşov, Iaşi and Bucureşti.
The main objectives of the project were
to:
- Develop a National Platform of Local
Action Groups in the field of social inclusion made up of 120 partners (members
civil society organizations, social partners, members of regional pacts for
employment and social inclusion, members of the chambers of commerce and
industry, farmers and craftsmen associations)
- Train 40 people to implement the
elaboration methodology of Local Social Inclusion Plans
- Develop 8 Local Social Inclusion Plans
- Consult and involve at least 800 social
partners, personnel of NGOs and citizens in the elaboration of the Local Social
Inclusion Plans
- Elaborate a good practice portfolio in
the field of social inclusion
- Organize experience exchanges in order
to get 35 people (social partners, NGOs, farmers and craftsmen associations)
familiar with good practice methods in the field of social inclusion
- Inform 800 people (members civil society
organizations, social partners, members of regional pacts for employment and
social inclusion, members of the chambers of commerce and industry, farmers and
craftsmen associations) regarding good practice methods/projects in the field
of social inclusion
- Elaborate 8 innovative projects in the
field of social inclusion
- Organize 8 national conferences to
launch the project, 8 national seminars and an international conference to
conclude the project
Members of 8 civil society
organizations benefitted from 640 hours of consultancy and mentoring in the
elaboration and implementation of projects in the field of social inclusion.
More than 1600 people (members civil society organizations, social partners,
members of regional pacts for employment and social inclusion, members of the
chambers of commerce and industry, farmers and craftsmen associations) received
relevant information in the field of social inclusion, good practice methods
and projects, development opportunities and resources.
