This Manual for Human Rights Education with Young People eis realised by the Council of Europe and is available online in several languages, including English and French. It can be browsed based on themes, activityes or chapters. It contains educational activities as well as theoretical considerations on human rights education with young people.


Bookmarks, a manual for combating hate speech through human rights education, was specifically created by the Council of Europe to support the No Hate Speech Movement.

The manual presents activities designed for young people aged 13 to 18, but which are adaptable to other age groups.

The updated 2020 version in English and French includes various activities and information on the Council of Europe guide “Human Rights for internet users”
