With the support and at the request of the French Embassy in Romania, the Intercultural Institute developed in French and Romanian guidelines for local authorities from France and Romania to cooperate on promoting social inclusion.
The main target is represented by municipalities in France hosting Romanian citizens, mostly with Roma background, living in precarious conditions, and their respective places of origin in Romania.
The methodology and the guidelines were based on consultations with representatives of municipalities in the two countries and were presented in a conference organised in Paris on 3 October 2019 by the Interministerial Delegation on Housing of the French Government.
