| The European
Roma Education Network is an initiative of Jean-Pierre
Liégeois, former Director of the Roma Research
Centre at Paris V University, and is the result of
over 25 years of experience in this field. It aims
at bringing together specialists, practitioners, institutions
and organisations committed to the promotion of quality
education for Roma children across Europe.
The EURRENET website is
a tool designed to facilitate communication and access
to information but it can only be effective if you
contribute to updating it with relevant information.
It contains databases of training courses for teachers
and other educational staff working with Roma children,
of organisations and institutions active in this field
and of projects funded by the European Commission
and the Council of Europe.
